fails WP:NMUSIC, article is built heavily on puffery, and is unsourced. Free Realist 9 (talk) 11:21, 27 June 2024 (UTC)

- Delete: I can't find any evidence that this band were popular outside of Santa Barbara – any reviews I find are from local media [1], [2]. As far as I can see, they released one mini-album in 2006 and one full-length album in 2008, both on non-notable labels, before splitting up... Singer Grant Parsons' contact details suggest the band was active until January 2008 [3], I can find social media posts from 2009 saying "I miss this band" and their website was dead by 2011, according to the Wayback Machine. - Delete not meet Wikipedia's notability, it lacks enough credible information and sources to prove the band's importance.Yakov-kobi (talk) 20:10, 27 June 2024 (UTC)
- Looks ok to delete. Haven't looked very hard but ProQuest yields very few hits when you search for "Harebrain Scheme" and "band". Did find one mention in a 2007 newspaper in Eugene, Oregon, but it's literally just a passing mention about an upcoming gig – so little information, in fact, that it's not entirely clear that it's the same band. Please ping me if sources are found. Cielquiparle (talk) 09:00, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
- I think it is the same band, but they appear to have been the second support act on another band's tour [4], so it doesn't really make them notable. Richard3120 (talk) 12:39, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
- Agree. Would also point out that the Daily Nexus (referenced above) is a student newspaper so doesn't count toward notability. Cielquiparle (talk) 02:24, 29 June 2024 (UTC)

- Delete: There's some info here, but it's hard to tell how well-known this band really was. The sources look mostly local, and they only put out a couple albums on small labels. Maybe with more evidence of broader impact, the article could stay, but right now it seems a bit thin. Waqar💬 16:52, 3 July 2024 (UTC)
